cz, 21.03

The Baltic University Programme Finland announce

The BUP Teachers’ Day 2024

This online event will bring the science of compassion into higher education. During the afternoon of 16 April, all colleagues at BUP participating universities are invited to get an introduction to SEE Learning (Social, Emotional and Ethical Learning).

On BUP Teachers’ Day 2024, there will be a focus on how educators can bring the Science of Compassion and Wellbeing into their courses. The participants will get a first insight into some best practices for engaging students and colleagues. The coach will be Ed.D. Ryder Delaloye, Associate Director for the SEE Learning Program at Emory University in Atlanta.

This session will empower higher education practitioners to apply research-based strategies to their classrooms and professional work. The integration of awareness, resilience, attention training, compassion for self and others, systems thinking, and other traits as guided by the Science of Compassion is helping organizations fulfill their true vision of education and student growth.

Participants will test practical and personal tools in addition to tested resources that have been developed and put into action by higher education practitioners around the world.

The BUP Teachers’ Day will be arranged online on 16 April between 13.30 and 16.00 CEST and it is open for all teachers and other staff at BUP participating universities.
