Technische Hochschule Lübeck shares a call for applications to the
[#b_hack] – the Baltic Sea Region Hackathon 2025
The theme for the event is 'One Region – Borderless Innovation' and it invites all young tech enthusiasts, creative minds, and future shapers to connect across countries and co-create brilliant IT solutions for a stronger, smarter, and more connected Baltic Sea Region.
The event is organised by the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS) in collaboration with the German Land of Schleswig-Holstein and Technische Hochschule Lübeck (TH Lübeck). The target group is individuals aged 18-29 from, or residing in, the CBSS Member States – Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, and Sweden.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in one of seven exciting hackathon themes:
Hack the Grid – Smarter Homes, Lower Emissions
Cross-Border Future Lab – A Design Thinking Workshop
Borderless Wellbeing – Innovation for a healthy, connected region
Borderless Entrepreneurship – Digital network for the Baltic Sea startup community
RoomSwap – Accommodation for exchange students
Artificial Intelligence goes Borderline
Baltic Sea Region – Visualising Climate Risks and Solutions
The hackathon sessions will be coordinated by specialists from TH Lübeck, ensuring participants have access to the necessary data sets and tools for their projects. The culmination of the event will see presentations delivered to VIP officials from Schleswig-Holstein and the CBSS, showcasing the innovative solutions devised by the young [#b_hack] attendees.
